Pine Point Shelter
|Reservations Closed but Parks Remain Open Until October 31st
Reservations for the 2019 camping season are now over, but the parks remain open until the end of October, weather permitting. Caretakers remain on site full time until September 16th. All first come, first served campsites until September 16th must be purchased from the caretaker. After September 16th, please use the self-registration envelopes located at each campground.
Lake Holcombe, with its 3000 acres of water surface, provides the setting for popular Pine Point Park. The park is located 2.5 miles west of the intersection of County Highway M and State Highway 27, then 1/2 mile north. NO ATV'S, GOLF CARTS, OR OTHER UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES ALLOWED IN ANY PART OF THE DAY PARKS OR CAMPGROUNDS.
Camping, swimming, picknicking, playground equipment, a reservable picnic shelter and a boat launch are available. Pine Point has a central location for water, electricity available on all sites, pit toilets and a dump station. There are no showers at Pine Point. Firewood is available for sale from the park caretaker who occupies site # 7.
The shelter at Pine Point provides electricity and lighting. It measures 35' X 25' and will hold approximately 75 people.
Pine Point campground is generally open from the first week in May through the last week in October. Reservations will not be accepted for mid September through the end of October. During this time, the sites are sold first come, first served at the park, via self-registration.
