The park is located 7.5 miles north of Stanley on County Trunk "H" and 2 miles west on 170th Avenue. It has 22 well-spaced campsites, a playground, picnicking, swimming and a boat landing. The shoreline of much of Otter Lake is undeveloped and provides an attractive, wilderness-type setting. This is an exceptional place for those who want to get away from it all! Otter Lake Park has a central location for water, electricity available on all sites and pit toilets. There are no showers at Otter Lake and there is no dump station. Firewood is available for sale from the park caretaker.

The Otter Lake day-use area, next door to the campground, offers a small and a large shelter and reservations are accepted for both. The small shelter is located along the entrance road and provides electricity and lighting. It measures 30' X 18' and will hold approximately 50 people. The large shelter is located near the beach and also provides electricity and lighting. It measures 68' x 40' and will hold approximately 100 people. The day-use area is gated at 9 pm daily, so please be prepared to exit promptly by that time!

The Otter Lake day-use area is open from May thru mid September.

The Otter Lake Campground is generally open from the first week in May through the last week in October. Reservations will not be accepted for mid September through the end of October. During this time, the sites are sold first come, first served at the park, via self-registration.
